Joshua earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and obtained additional research training in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University while a graduate student. He completed a two-year clinical and research fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by an NIMH-funded fellowship in clinical services research. He has expertise in suicide assessment and prevention, psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessment, and biostatistics. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles.
